Meteorology

Meteorology

A Poem by Siddhartha

Drops
Flow in rivulets
Form a stream

Drops
Fall in drizzles
Make an ocean

Drops
Go up in air
In patterns unseen

Drops
Down my cheeks
End of a dream

Dropped
Down the skies
The sweetest dream

Dropped
On my arms
My eyes gleamed

Dropped
Her to death
Want a requiem

Dropped
Everything away
Can't be redeemed

Drop
Drip
Trip

I like how the drop expanded to dropped - like that rain drop that grows as it falls before the - drip - trip - splash - the repetition is executed very well here - it mimics the sound of the rain drop too - almost counting the beat drop.... drop... drop - very clever write - though would we expect any less! nice!

acquious cascadence...aglow with uncomplicated and concise poetic devices...that disolve like medicine and spreads as subtle warmth within the entirety of my essence...

Drop, Drip , trip--would have loved to continue reading more , the effect was mesmeric! Loved the way you squeezed out a river from a few drops.

there is something so sweetly sad about this that reaches in my heart and holds on. Funny thing about poetry, we all interpet in our own way. I suppose that is truly the beauty of it.
You do have such a talent.
