That GirlA Poem by SiddharthaAn experimental poem in which I have followed a recursive style that you will get to know as you read the poem.Days pass by quickly Nights are quicker still Memories coming back afresh Making the consciousness whirl And swirl sending me into a tizzy Dizzy with alcohol and drugs And the lingering memories of that girl Who stayed on for a fleeting moment A moment that became an eternity An eternity that swallowed me whole Only a part of me remains That exhorts me back to life A burning life hauled over the burning coals Searching everywhere for some sanity Or a semblance thereof or a cure A cure for my bleeding heart An anodyne for my vanity © 2011 SiddharthaReviews
