love;desire

love;desire

A Poem by Siddhartha

Sun lifts the veil of a teasing Earth
And the skies blush a deep crimson
Your breaths waft like the morning mist
Waylaying us into the maze of passion

The wet sweetness that lingers on your lips
Intoxicates me as we feverishly kiss
Your hair blinds me as I pull you closer
Afraid of being robbed of this transient bliss

Morning rose flush with evanescent joy
Fills my heart with a strange despair
I hold onto you, afraid to let you go
My soul fidgety with a torrid desire

And elsewhere...
Exultant waves, born of nights of love
Of a blanched moon and heaving seas
Keep teasing the lovesick shore
Drawing away, only to come back and kiss
