A Wildflower Kiss

A Wildflower Kiss

A Poem by Siddhartha

Rain drenched highways
Slow burning night
Sweaty starry clouds
Moon kissed twilight

The candle flickers
Giving kisses of light
Teardrops of words
Bleed in its sight

Shine the crazy stars
Shimmer the drunk seas
Cry the sleepy typewriter
As I touch the shy keys

My words quiver
In the lovesick breeze
If only this poem could
Steal a wildflower kiss
