truth, becoming

truth, becoming

A Poem by Siddhartha

For this breeze in spring
Brings the scent of your being
And in the sweet spell of it
This dark night sings

Then the seas flow a deep blue
Bringing back things lost in time
Like that part of your heart
Where lives a part that is mine

The starlit skies shine like your eyes
The stars therein send lovelorn sighs
And the cuckoo sings as it gently flies
That the heart gets that for which it tries

For I found you when all was lost
The will to live and the will to love
But the truth in you lighted up my soul
And I found that which I missed the most
