Breaking Spring

Breaking Spring

A Poem by Siddhartha

If I could write away
All that I think of you
And put that in words
What my heart finds true

Words would then spill over
From my heart onto paper
The ink turning scarlet
As my pen bleeds in ardor

I would write of your eyes
How they light up the night
Of the tenderness in them
Bewitching everything in sight

I would write of your hair
How it rustles in the wind
I would write of your love
In a world torn blind

And I would keep on writing
Hoping my wish comes true
Hoping that you read them
Hoping my words find you
