A Summer Love Song

A Summer Love Song

A Poem by Siddhartha

Love lurks in unseen corners
Springs to break the Summer Squall
We accept what we think we deserve
To break our hearts again in the fall

But I shall love you still
Whatever be its price I pay
If this be the only chance I get
This is what I shall say

That…

You heal me
In ways no one does

You anchor me
To this cruel, selfish world

You are my ink
You are my pen

You are my poems unwritten
You are my stories untold
