A Nightly Numb Song

A Nightly Numb Song

A Poem by Siddhartha

No victories to cherish
No defeats to mourn
No songs to be sung
No rituals to perform

The undead rot unsung
No incense to light
No poems to be written
No respite to the night

No stars to pluck
No treasures to find
No tears to be shed
No thoughts to mind

The blind march on
No hearts to burn
No love to be lost
No happiness to earn
