Morning Soirees

Morning Soirees

A Poem by Siddhartha

Down across the distant horizon
In vistas of green in hues unthought
Bleed a sea of blue over red leaden stones
A kaleidoscope of dancing colors of love

So…
Bleed, bleed, through the bluish night
Bleed while there are still stars in sight
And I will bleed through the blinding day
Get drenched in the coruscating Sunlight

For…
The tip of your eye catches my mind’s eye
Ah, this rendezvous will be spent in sighs
I will think a song and twirl it on my tongue
And take you where the land meets the skies

And…
Rivers of dreams shall flow in realms of joy
And the night shall become all coy and shy
There is a drizzle then, a bit and then some
As dawn finds that for which the night tries
