A Full Moon Love Poem

A Full Moon Love Poem

A Poem by Siddhartha

Tonight the moon shines bright
Its light burning the night
Only if you could see like I did
You won't ever forget the sight

Its scars are proud in their pain
For every inch has a story to tell
A love it gave which was left unkept
For love cannot all their money sell

The white of its light pierces the dark
Taking away the pain of days past
There must be a method to its sorcery
To bring back again what could not last

Tonight the moon shines bright
Its eyes piercing my soul
Reminding me to do what is right
To tell its story as it should be told
