Autumn Breeze

Autumn Breeze

A Poem by Siddhartha

Your breath is like a million roses
Blooming defiantly in autumn skies
Taking with them the pain of ages
As sings the blackbird close by

And in the moments spent together
Colors of which brighten with time
Of finding joy in the arms of another
As a valiant heart dictates cruel mind

Lies the place of an infinitude of dreams
Where rules the North Star of our wishes
And flows love in an eternity of streams
As the heart requites what it misses

Thus…
When the balls of our fates gently chime
We shall be meeting there, as was destined
And my arms would wound themselves in thine
As the heart sees to which the eyes were blind
