A Poem by Siddhartha

The unblemished truth is an ideal that can never be set

For only in its absence are promises made

And the paths of our forlorn lives forever set.

Bereft of the promise of a pinnacle of perfection

Our burnt souls realize the Sun can never be met

As our beings drown in the Red our hearts bled
