Midsummer Rain

Midsummer Rain

A Poem by Siddhartha

To miss you is not only to miss your being

But the gentle caress your memories bring

Your hair flowing in the autumn breeze

Your radiant smile in the freshness of spring

Thus our lives are tinged with pain

A chance meeting and a parting then

But we think not of that as we find us now

Drenched together in this Midsummer rain
