Que Sera SeraA Poem by Siddhartha
This pen works in unseen ways
It writes of you this night I know not why it should thus be When you are so out of my sight Fate is a cunning old trickster It separates us across cruel time But your grace flits across space It keeps your memories in my mind And I write of forgotten springs In this summer’s blistering heat When the mind was deliriously light The heart heavy with its own beats Of such nostalgia is our lives made Foregone moments when time was kind Which in their wake leave memories That catalyze the rest of our lifetimes © 2013 Siddhartha |
