My Remembrance of Your BeingA Poem by SiddharthaMy remembrance of your being Is like the sweetest of dreams The edges of which never fade I find you in the early morning Sun Your presence lingers when it sets The soft drizzle that caresses The morning Sun that warms The flowing river that cleanses The gentle zephyr that calms My remembrance of your being Is like the first rain of early spring The scent of which lingers thereafter Your thoughts brighten the dark nights I recall you in the feeble moonbeam A signpost that guides the lost An oasis that quenches the thirst The lost ship that comes ashore A palliative that alleviates the hurt My remembrance of your being Is like nothing that has ever been It defines every moment that I live I find a part of you in everything I see In its wake comes alive a part of me
