A Spring Time Love Story

A Spring Time Love Story

A Poem by Siddhartha

Your being shines like beacons of light

That guide a ship through turbulent storm

They lead me through my wearisome life

With the sweet promise of eternal love

The path that forms in your Sunlike splendor

Connects our hearts across space and time

As your hand glowing radiantly in the moonbeam

Allows itself to rest in this coarse hand of mine

The night silences itself as we talk in whispers

The blackbird sings songs to bring us together

You come closer as the darkness becomes darker

While I tell you of my impossibly dreamlike plans

A love such as this in a world of material wants

You ask me how this can be possibly true

And I whisper that the heart needs no reason

It loves for it was meant to and it loves only you

Thank you for stopping by Robbie. Your words were beautiful as always...
What beautiful extravagance... how love can bring alive the heart and mind.. how it becomes spring in the soul.. This gives wings to the world.
