closure

A Poem by Siddhartha

To the things I have lost
And the things I have gained
To those who gave me joy
And those who left me pained

I have left my home
And have wandered in far off lands
Have found redemption in solitude
Away from society's endless demands
...
And should I come back to this world
Where cruelty consorts with heady pretense
Where the hypocrisy of life leaves innocence stained
I shall no more care how it all ends
