In Memoriam

In Memoriam

A Poem by Siddhartha

Nebulous wisps of your evanescing thoughts

Kaleidoscopic images of psychedelic mindbursts

Like a million flowers exploding simultaneously

In a riot of colors, consuming all guilt and hurt

Dark, misty roads in delusional mazes of reality

Delirious as they seem on the brink of naivety

Ardently labyrinthine in their damning sophistry

Loss of innocence forgotten in the cry of victory

Kinesics of seduction wrapped in clever pantomime

Unrequited affection drowned in swift sands of time

Destroyed by fate and by a heart which was blind

This ravaged soul cleaving to what was once mine

The cliff yonder beckoning silently like a lover lost

In the cruel puzzles of strangely conspiring hearts

Searching for clues of what was cherished most

Now lost in the cathartic cry of the deliberate hurt
