Lost Moments

Lost Moments

A Poem by Siddhartha

Words, lost

When needed most

Shuttered up, cold

In autumn frost

You aloof, proud

Untamed, unbound

Faraway from crowd

Your spirit floating

On the tip of clouds

Your graceful form

Fleeting, ephemeral

Like the gentle zephyr

In times autumnal

Kissing the blue skies

As the seagull flies

Amidst sleeping Sun

Sending streaks of cerise

From bloodshot eyes

This day now foregone

By shyness unknown

As we came closer

Yet remained alone

But the poetic mind

Keeps writing on…

Hoping against hope

That one day this heart

Shall gain redemption
