Lone prisoner

Lone prisoner

A Poem by stanley

Lone Prisoner

His shadow quavering feverishly near the flickering light
dancing from the wick, thus
his guilt swayed with the lady of judgment
lost in the lonesome sphere
his self-loathing was his only fiend

lone prisoner
without hope of redemption, thus
judgement awaits your soul in the gallows

lonesome figures in the light
dancing and cheering
your demise is near, as
the mockingbird filled your emptiness with bliss

O' lone Prisoner
for judgement is not your sorrow, as
the flickering wick spur your hope for better morrow
as tomorrow died with the lady of judgement.
the gallows praise your Name

lonesome figure in the dim.
