Lack of a View

Life glues
our feet to the ground,
yet pushes us to grow faster faster
(with every eraser mark)
until our heads are in the clouds
and we can't see our feet anymore,
not that we ever bother to glance
down anyway.

This has such an easy concept to it... and yet as in most poems you find the deeper meaning to it. I enjoyed it thoroughly!
