Million

Million

A Poem by Shutter Speed

A million thoughts left unexpressed

Hearing yourself from a million times from a million days

Voices pushing and pulling and clogging and churning you into their wants their wishes and

The Balance?

In you in ideas into motion into events into a life or in

the smiling faces of a million friends to usher you along this road of (imperfection) and maybe it'll be worth a damn but

are you any better off when the lights go down and the show's over and even the ghosts of applause left hanging in the air are nothing but empty silence and

In you is all you have left and do you have any more of What Makes a Life?

In actions? The million reasons you do what you do in a certain way. To ripple the world from the top of the mountain or on the bottom, solid ground when Footing is Lost?

A sweltering summer day in Alabama equipped with a Coca-Cola pen and a million minutes to satisfy The Balance.

Ha-Ha.

I like to think Im a little wiser having a million friends giving thier opinions on my million thoughts that I have a million times a day. Only half are heard, half of those are heeded, and half of those are passed on as pieces of me to make the million pieces of you...so yeah its worth it. Very good writing. Keep up the cynacism it makes for a good debate, that lead to good questions, that lead to good writing.

I'm 14 and live in Alabama. But nah, I ain't no hillbilly. My camera is my best friend, only second to my Coca-Cola pen. I despise boredom and love travelling--those few times I get to. I play piano s.. more..
