I write

Because it’s the only expression

That does not get interrupted

I get the all clear signal to go…and

I’m on a role

Is that talent

I cant just bring it on

When its time to perform

It has to be given

From the higher power

So I wait…

To be blessed with the chance to let the energy flow

Through this pen…to paper

From my lips…to your ears

Can you her this

Uninterrupted thought

A snippet of my brain is crying out to you

Give me a tissue..a snap of refuge

Forgive me if this does not make sense

Think of it as the Holy Ghost has gotten in

And Im shouting through this pen

A confession of a talent that is only turned on by Him

So stop asking

My writing is a God given talent. I dont write everyday, but only when inspired. This poem came about when fellow poets would say I needed to write more.
