Didi, My Guiding Light: A Heartfelt Ode to My Elder Sister"
Oh, didi, my elder sister and friend, Seven years apart, our bond will never end, A mother figure, someone I can trust, The only person in whom I can confide and must. You may be short, but you're a giant in my heart, When I was little, you played your part, Calling me liliput, with such delight, But now I'm taller, and you're my guiding light. I know I'm a pain, always making you mad, But I can't help myself, it's just a tad, Irritating you, it's just what I do, But I promise to make you proud, it's overdue. As a child, you were my hero and role model, Someone to look up to, never to be a hassle, As I've grown up, I realize more, You're the one I love to annoy and adore. But now, looking back, I see, How much you've done for me, Through thick and thin, you've been my rock, Always there for me, through the tick and the tock. So here's to you, didi, my sister and friend, A bond that will never break, a love that will never end, Thank you for all you've done for me, I promise to make you proud, just wait and see. With all my heart, I dedicate this verse, To the one who's been there for me since birth, I love you, didi, more than words can say, And I promise to make you proud in every way.
