Short Poem

A Poem by Connor

The moonlight drenches our skin,
hand in hand, we wonder the streets.
Blue eyes, I see the summer sky in
your bright smile.. Nights upon nights,
wondering beneath city lights and
this feeling will neVer get old.
Your body buried within my arms,
and your heart beat keeps rhythm
with mine as sidewalks pour forth
in front of us. No one will know
where we're going as we walk
into the stars, miles upon miles and
hearts upon hearts, my life hasn't begun
until our lips start to touch.

I like the ending a lot! Great Job!

A lovely poem with nice imagery that is picturesque without being too over-the-top.
