going home

going home

A Poem by Connor

i fall asleep into an alternate reality
some other, strange actuality
and with these things, count on dependability
defeating sustainability,
of mere scientific calculation ingestion
and they search for where im running
to a place ever so stunning
im coming home, im going home
to where i am never alone
to a paradise deep within
devoid of all notion of sin
where my tanned skin will glisten
i slip away into eternity
and i fell, into the alternate reality
