Regret, Cause and Effect

Regret, Cause and Effect

A Poem by Connor

Black swans in both our eyes,
and unlit stars in both our skys.
Compare hearts, whose is still beating

When you became perfection
I was drenched with tears and sin
since when were you so perfect?

I can hear you whispering
and praying for rain tonight
can you kill this drought?

Well I can't fall any deepr
'cause my hearts done beating
and I just want to start sleeping

All I need is more dreaming.
