Drug Addict....!!!

Drug Addict....!!!

A Poem by Shriya
"

its all very much real how a drug addict ruins his/her life brings everything to an end and then regrets for his/her acts.

"
Hey you, yes you! You are having drug addiction??
when asked for the reason you say it's STRESS and DEPRESSION..!
but do you know you are your family's biggest frustration!
And everyday of your life is giving you its demonstration,
bit you refuse and reject to have its realization,
ultimately one day your family chooses for separation,
and at that point you say a 'yes' to your family,
because what matters to you is your 'ADDICTION'
but man your are a big fool !!
because today you are standing in your life's worst situation,
And then what your health deteriorates it's Cancer, Oh! it's Cancer, you cry,
Doctors please save my life, please save me! you cry,
but even the best treatments do not respond positively to your health condition,
and at that point only one thing strikes your brain,
If only I could have that one thing in me known as 'Determination'
to leave my "ADDICTION"
but man you are too late for this realization'
because DEATH is standing in front of you,
to hug you tight, too take you away,
you don't wanna do that, but you are left with no other option,
And the only reason behind this is your "ADDICTION"
Hence people Life without Addiction,
can give you peace in multiplication......!! :)

True addicts of any sort are first and foremost more selfish than those who refrain, even to the point of narcissism, for I know many many people who are susceptible to addiction but never enter that black hole, why? Because they do not put themselves before those whom they love, those who depend on them.

I liked the passion, the truth
in your voice

thanx Basu :)
I don't know what to call myself anymore, I used to be an addict.
I didn't take drugs because my parents split up.
There was no reason, other than at first I wanted t have a good time, then I needed to feel normal.
Then I met people who I thought were okay, but really they wanted to bring me down. And I spiralled out of control, taking drugs to make myself feel the normal that I had made up in my head.

Well time to open up don't really like to, rarely do I share things but seen that the subject came about. After reading Diego's review I can more than agree but and in no way justify addicition, just like any other aillment it has a componen that overtakes and steals for lack of a better word your innate will. As the will doesn't belong to you but belongs to the subtance of choice. I thought the intensity and the vacuity was somewhat depicted. Worth remembering that in most cases the most common experience is that the external world i.e what we call as reality is a direct consequence of their internal world so the loss of objectivity does not aloow for common logic which is not touched in this writing.

Intense.

Thankyou
