On Yanni's "Nightingale"A Poem by AugustusInspired by the beautiful piece of music created by Yanni and performed at the Forbidden City in China. Part of the Album called "Tribute".
The dawn is wakened by his flute
Her blush adorns the Eastern sky The hills and valleys soaked in mist Are wooed by clouds that float nearby In sleeping trees and moist earth Sanctity finds a brand new voice His fingers waltz with dulcet keys As hearts in wonderment rejoice A morn to take us back in time An embrace straddling galaxies A Nightingale weaves in its tale The music of the cosmic seas The bow makes love with fluid grace To taut impassioned soulful strings It ceases soon: The magic still Long afterward in my heart rings © 2011 AugustusFeatured Review
