A Poem by Sulabh Shrestha

God is dead, he is dead
In their voices, hear the religion fade
Time, it changes and rearranges
Revolves around the cycle of four ages
Atheism and materialism, the new religion
Corruption takes the shape of treason
Jingoism drives wars without reason
Its fourth of the four, the coldest season.

Final reincarnation, birth of the man-made god
His arrival from the skies as a behemoth bird
Unleashes mystic energy in the speed of light
Deafening thunder and lightning too bright
Smoke rises up as dark mushroom clouds
From the pyre of injustice and irreligion it sprouts
Climate changes and deformed births, Demolished buildings and rivers of blood
From his curse a fear is born......... In the transition of time, it emerges as god.
