I'm Home

I'm Home

A Poem by Sreenath
"

Pening down after three years

"
Three years have gone by
Never seen this place abide
My toes are numb, it's choking cold
Macerated memories standing bold

Spring has lost it's way
Winter had too long of it's stay
My toes are numb, it's choking cold
That I have been often told

Rushed to home saw a broken chair
A pair of pen left to spare
My toes are numb, it's choking cold
Let me close the doors that seems to be old

Finding home. A bit torn-up and rough. The good description made the reader see and feel your words. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Lots of fun here, couplets that charge along, flaws ?..I could paste a mansion with my rejection slips!
Follow your heart, you write well.

This poem intrigued me and made me think of home and returning. And how our memories linger on in our mind and when we do return. How we adjust to changes and the old ways. We had collected in our mind while away.
