If You were a Flower

If You were a Flower

A Poem by ShowtunesGiraffe

If you were a flower
I wouldn't pick you
Because if I picked you
You'd stay in a vase
And wilt away
Being no use to anyone
But me
Just a lost dream
In a vase

Instead, I'd leave you be
Let you grow
Give you water
You'd spread your beauty all over the place
Giving happiness to the world

Flourishing

Though I'd want to keep you
I'd let you go
Let you grow
Because that's what I believe
True love
Really is.

This is wonderful, it made me feel loved even if it wasn't for me. This is a masterpiece.
