A Challenge

A Challenge

A Poem by Laoidhigh Uilleag

The sun will rest with the stars,

the moon will hide it's face,

and this darkness is called new.

Alas, they speak truth,

for i never had to face this.

Swimming a mile to survive,

thats a challenge.

Crossing the atlantic,

Well, thats a feat.

We see a seperation ahead,

and we accept a loss against this feat.

Yet, it's only a challenge.

The ability to complete it,

happens to be low.

Push yourself hard enough,

Make yourself strong enough,

Become wise enough,

and you may overcome it.

I really liked this, especially the end- that we can overcome anything when we set our mind to it. Very thought provoking! Good job!
