He Lives In You (The Inner Muse)

Poem I found today that i wrote in march or april of someone I like, the one from You Don't Comprehend.

Courage.

It goes a long way,

So very far in advancement,

But for some reason,

I can't grasp it.

 

I try to talk,

to murmur a word to you,

but it's too hard.

 

Maybe it's the fact,

I'm completely lovesick,

and want to impress you.

 

And even though,

impressing means talking,

I just can't.

 

I don't want,

to seem brainless,

so I hardly speak.

 

Or it may very well be,

Subconsiounsly I know it cant work,

but my heart and soul disagrees.

 

And maybe my mind,

argues because my magic sword,

has an amazing muse.

 

My muse.

 

You are the one,

who inspires me every single day,

even if you don't know,

This is good but it actually seems a bit too long three stanzas with a few more more in would of been good, the poem repeats itself constantly making it more and more boring the future in you go. This is a good poem with a good meaning so well done.
