Don't Worry

Don't Worry

A Poem by Jennifer Warnock
"

boy/girls who have never cared, fake friends...to everyone that has been done wrong

"

I guess after all this time
I have not realized that I just did not matter.
You would have thought
that I would have grasped that concept.
I guess that I never really figured out
that it was all about you.
I tried to open up my heart to you,
you just did not care.
Now we got to part ways.

but don't worry
I am sure you will find someone
that you can walk all over.

I had thought that I was your friend,
but I guess that I was wrong.
I was just someone to walk all over
I kept all your secrets
I was always there for you
That did not matter to you,
that is all right.
I will figure it out on my own.

My whole world has fallen apart,
don't worry though
I will be able to take care of myself
I will not take things to the extreme.
I was never able to trust anyone
don't worry though
It was not your fault,
I should have known better.

I know what I am worth.
There is no reason
to care anymore.
I know where I am on my own
and that your time is not worth wasting.
Just remember that I was there for you
and I never judged you.
Don't worry though
I am sure that you will find someone else to do that.
