Fire: A poem.A Poem by Kincaid KjeedoA poem I wrote for a class about any topic that was given to that person. Fire was the topic I had to write about.
FIRE
Heat overwhelming, torches the sun,
The feeling that comes from a lukewarm gun.
A spark or a wave, a lake or a sea,
A ring or an epic trial, or journey.
Spoken of by the likes or Frost, Cash and rock bands alike.
They know love and pain help it ignite.
Lest we not forget “Through the Fire and the Flames” by the band Dragonforce,
Whose flames in their voices make mortal men hoarse.
It destroys whole things, all things and no things.
It can make you have a smile, or cause you great pain.
Take the strength of pyre, a lustful desire,
Harness the power, and within the hour,
You too will be able to consume,
Forests and trees, habitants and mushrooms.
Devour villages, cities and lonely gray wizards,
Villas and towns and dusty old splinters.
Yes, Fire can be good and bad, and can be a lot hotter,
But, if any weakness, it be ice cold water.
