springA Poem by shoepolisha poem about the dawn of springas winter fades, memories flood in ones that we've lost, ones that we've gained the things we remember, the things we forget at this time of year, are put to the test
spring in all its glory, a warm butterscotch the buttery sun reveals, that which was lost far beneath the snow, seeds will awaken and take all the spaces, that can be taken
under a vanilla sky, like a warm cup of coffee the earth drenched in light, and the wind is choppy throwing the breeze, like the beat of a song wistling a tune, as the trees sway along
then something happens,as the sun winks away everything's gold, at the end of the day the clouds turn to pink, the sky turns to purple as everything goes dark, the stars start to sparkle
