safe

relax and melt

collapse into my arms

i will keep you safe

relax your broken eyelids

and stare off into space

there are no clocks here where you are

no time to worry upon

your safe here in my arms right now

your fortresses are gone

there is no one to shout at you

and no one to disrupt

so scream or cry

laugh or sigh

your time is never up

A sweet poem here with a beautiful message. There are not enough "Safe" arms around, not enough people who care enough to hold someone safe and keep them that way. When you are hurting, this is the place to be and it does sound as though an angel is doing the holding.

Love the poem, and it is a relaxing read. The only nitpicky thing I'd change is to take out the word "here" in the line "there are no clocks here where you are". The "here" isn't necessary and it avoids it being used twice since it appears two lines down. Other than that, I thought it was just perfect.
