A Poem by Moonlight

Poem about some random thoughts on love

The stars and us

Sometimes when I look at the stars,

I see how much they are

Like you and me…

Some flicker, some don’t.

Some hide behind the clouds,

As if playing hide-and-seek in the brilliant night sky.

You are steady and calm,

While I play the flickering part.

When life becomes clouded

By miseries and difficulties,

And I want to hide…

You stay strong, and pull me through

Along with you.

Your brightness shining

Brighter than any shooting star.

I wish that the night

Would last longer than it does…

And stay like this forever.

Because I know that,

When the daylight strikes

We are going to say our goodbyes…

And maybe,

Some other night,

We might get our chance

To stay by each other’s side…

But I know that,

That night,

We both will hide behind those clouds.

Unable to see each other;

Maybe not even wanting to.

So near and yet so far apart…

I think its a good poem (u write alot yo! and what i have read thus far has been very very good) my only humble suggestion would be to let rip, let totally rip with words that first pop into your mind without editing yourself with perfection (my assumption), for often this leads to dilution or how can i say it, imperfection is perfection when delivered with the might of raw emotion. hope i help, but likely not lololol good luck and thanks for sharing!
