Night with Lights

Night with Lights

A Poem by Daniela Leça

A dark path I follow
Onward myself, nowhere to be found
Inside my mind,
There is no such thing as peace
I list my faith and allure for braver days
Heading to a black new day
It's only me
Night with lights
Cold light
Bright light
Dark soul am I
In this cicle of dreams
It's the time we step in
Life seems surreal
My dreams are too real
You've created this cicle of hatred
Your game, not mine
You scream, you froze
I'll pull you out
I'll bring you down
I'll break you down
I yearn for your silence

That's one of the very darkest, but fascinating poetry. So many things of your "life" darkness you've captured just in few words. Every line.. verse has got much to be spoken of "Night With LightS". Beautifully expressed!

Life does seem surreal. beautifully capturing the foreboding and destructive nature of dreams and what the mind can conjure. Thank you for sharing.
