Misanthrope

Misanthrope

A Poem by Daniela Leça

The distorted views
I have
Memories are
Far from reality
Systematic failure
The urge to hide
The deluded mind
Of a Misanthrope
Embracing solitude
In a chaotic life
Of misunderstanding
The urge to hide
The deluded mind
Of a Misanthrope
Along the path
Nature
My beloved friend
Among the speechless plants
The warm air
Presses my body
The urge to hide
The deluded mind
Of a Misanthrope

I love it!
Perhaps your views are not so distorted, your mind not so deluded. One person can find paradise, but many people will quickly turn it into perdition. A beautiful expression, dear poet.
