Transparency

Transparency

A Poem by Daniela Leça

In your head something bothers you.
You're there without knowing my existence.
Feeling my presence leaning on your shoulder,
You turn behind, but I've already disappeared.

I became transparent, away from all existence,
That's my appearance,
I'm the ghost behind the mirrors.
If you call my name, I'll come to your rescue.
Life in your world means nothing to me anymore.

Speaking backwards, casting spells,
Trying to put your fears far away from there.
Illusions spinning in your head, but you're still in your square.
I'll always keep an eye on you.

Your words feel like such a beautiful haunting... the ghost of you always remaining... the echoes of you always speaking... Powerful, moving, and deep!
