The Point of No Return

The Point of No Return

A Poem by shinybluestars03

One day she will appear...

he said

...to take me away

away from all the undead

away from all of the unseen,

away from this excruciating pain

that I hold inside of me.

One day she will realize,

that all he ever wanted was

a bit of enlightenment,

a bit of encouragement

to keep on overcoming all of these

dreadful days ahead.

One day she will return,

but not to take him away

away from the unknown,

away from this horrow show.

Truth be told

she never was away,

the only thing he had to do

was turn around,

and there she was all along

walking forward along with him

not looking back to that point of no return...

Ahhh 'Phantom of the opera"! Love it!!! The piece so fitted the song, 'Turn around'. The opera, saw it many times. Have it all on video too!
You did a fantastic piece on this and I dd feel his pain, love, desire, all for her, his one and only who could save only him.. For you are right. She was there always.. All he had to do was see her, as she saw him....
