A Smile For The Poet

The love i have for the poet is so grand :) for he is the reason i will always smile!

On a dark and lonely night,
filled with rain and thunder
there in the deepness of the woods
lived a writer.
A writer who wrote,
about finding a poet.
A poet who could change
her thoughts in her poetry,
for she only wrote
of darkness and lonliness,
death and pain...

On a dark and lonely night,
filled with rain and thunder
there walking in the deepness of the woods
was a poet.
A poet who longed
for a reason,
a reason to smile.
For he only knew
what it was to feel pain.

The poet and the writer,
found each other and together,
they lived in the deepness of the woods
where they no longer,
felt emptiness or pain.
They found in each other
a chance to live happily,
but, most importantly,
the poet found
a reason to smile.

Yes, I am a sucker for love found on those dark and lonely nights. I suppose I have had far too many of them. I suppose those nights I have found myself not alone offer fonder memories than the days. There is that edge of isolation, as the writer writes about finding that poet. There is that edge of isolation, as the poet wanders the same woods. It is interesting to note though, there is still that edge of isolation even as the two find an easing of their loneliness in each other. There is that hint of sadness. in that realization that that the most important part was the poet smiling - leaving us to wonder about the writer...
