I wish I knew how to start,
and tell you how I feel.
Deep down inside,
I still wished you were here.
I made a mistake to let you go.
And now your gone
to start a new life,
a life without me by your side.
It hurts to know that,
our friendship is gone
I just want you to know that
I will always be here and my heart
still beats for you.
I have to learn to let you go
and forget about it all.
I hope one day to pass you by,
and see you smile one last time.

I just recently... Split up with my boyfriend, and he too was my friend before it all. I wish we hadn't begun to fell in love, since it hurt so much to let him go... Anyway, this was a piece of love, and sorrow... Yet still at the end you spoke about how you'd always be there, which is sweet, and kind. I really liked this and hope to read more from you.

This reminds me of my ex and I. The lines 'It hurts to know that, our friendship is gone' hits me the most, cuz my ex and I were friends before we started dating and when we broke up, we didnt have that friendship anymore and we started losing touch. Then when he moved across country, i never saw him again. "my heart still beats for you' is true for me. I loved this piece. Keep up the good work!
