Numb

I took a picture in my mind
of your beautiful wondering eyes,
how i can feel them
hypnotizing me, and warming me
up with delite.
With my eyes shut tight
I remember how you would
take my hand,
showing them the way
to a wonderful peaceful state in time.
How your smile would numb my body
like a deer looking at a bright light,
how I would just melt with your soft
passionate kisses
oh, how I miss this...
I don't know how you would take me to
such wonderful bliss.
So many sweet dreams
I have of it all.
How your passion drove me insane,
because being with you toke away my pain.
All I can do now is,
close my eyes and wait
for the numbness to crawl upon my skin...
