Color of ImpossibleA Poem by Victoria GWhat is a thing that can’t be done? Is its color the shimmering gold of the sun? Or maybe it’s something unfathomably deep, Like the moon glinting off the blue of the sea. Is it an electric orange that’s blindly bright? Or is it the heavy black cloak of the night? Is it something that makes you laugh in your tears, Like rose or chartreuse that’s bursting with cheer. Is it gray like a building that’s towering tall? Or is it brown like a bug that’s impossibly small? Maybe it’s a hue on a rainbow or a clown, But I think the color of impossible has yet to be found. © 2011 Victoria GReviews
