Bury your Dead

Bury your Dead

A Poem by Seth
"

This poem is about how you push down your feelings inside.

"
Bury your dead,
The fallen has risin,
The lies you push down,
have become unforgiven,
They're ruthless and will tear you apart,
Bury your dead,
Only to give you a head start.
The dead never stay dead,
They move as one,
They never stayed buried,
They have only just begun,
They will pop up and show just how ugly you are,
The dead that was inside of you has grown to harm,
Bury your dead,
The fallen has risin,
They lies you push down have become unforgiven,
They're ruthless and will tear you apart,
Bury your dead,
You wont make it to far.
The dead has finally shown your true colors,
No matter how far you dig your going into debt faster,
Your life as you know it has all been lies,
Your burden,
Your worries will now eat you alive.
Time is all that is needed for the dead to awake,
Do you dare to still bury your fate?
Your secrets will rise and you will fall,
The lies will dig up,
And the dead will bury you after all.

i like the metaphor. we all 'bury our dead'. & i like the build up to the ending: the dead, or the feelings, always eventually overwhelm. i like the subtle rhythm it has but i think you could chop it up a little, make it flow more smoothly & have a more presentable appearance. good write.
