Curtain Call

Curtain Call

A Poem by Seth
"

About my finals days with my friends before we head off to college

"

The stage is set one final time,

It has been a good five years,

But time to move on.

The lights light up and make the stage bright,

My final performance is in the air tonight.

I steadily wait as my audience grows,

The lights go dim its time for a show,

I take my last steps to a roaring crowd,

I give them what they came to see,

It’s almost done now.

The show is done,

Ill give them one final bow,

But before I do I thank them for being a wonderful crowd.

To all of you,

I a bid you farewell,

My time in your presents has been interesting now doubt,

I’ve been through my ups and downs,

Changed my appearance,

God its been swell.

I thought five years couldn’t ever be so short,

And now I am leaving on my sited course.

This is my final curtain call,

I bow to you all,

You all have been a beautiful audience

Thank you,

Thank you,

I love you all.
