Nuts!

Nuts!

A Story by Tim M

Kevin had only been home for thirty minutes when he decided to masturbate. His parents would not be home from work for at least two hours, his sister was at soccer practice, and the dog was in the back yard. His bedroom had never been safer. He closed the blinds, shut the door, and leaned against the wall with one hand. He closed his eyes, and thought long and hard. Jenny Grier floated into his imagination, wearing that green sweater she was always in. Keven could smell her hair. Downstairs, Kevin's sister was coming through the door, moving slow and sluggish after an exhaustive practice. She closed the door with a limp grasp, and slid of her cleats on the floor. Kevin was sweating and scrunching his brow, simultaneously worshipping and devouring every finite detail of the Jenny Grier in his mind. He was too enraptured in the mighty hold of memory to hear the grunting of the stairwell. But he heard the crack his sister's door made when she opened it. Panic set in like a gunshot to his chest. Horrible churning embarrassment, boiling frustration, and the screaming urge to shrivel up and die pulsed through him in the flash of a second, as he bent down and collected his pants. Heading furrowed out of his room, he caught a glimpse of his sister in her room. He frowned at her, she flipped him the finger, and as he headed down the staircase he held one fist high in the air and shouted back,
"Nuts!"

I actually laughed at the end, which is a good thing. I don't think I've ever been so angry that the only thing I could yell out was, "Nuts!" I would love to know what spawned the idea for this story. Definitely different than anything else you've written -- lighthearted, joking. Probably the shortest piece you've written as well.
